The Skin suit is a high technology underwear. It has been designed in order to be a second skin. This under wear integrates a lot of technologies.

 

First of all, smart textile LED integrated strip which enable other astronauts to visualize your mood (detected by the BCI module of the space headset).

The purpose of those strips is to detect and prevent bad mood such as depression, anger… The LED strip will be managed by a Lylipad Arduino kit based.

 

Second, piezoelectric modulus and/or Pelletier modulus will be used in order to improve the skin suit energy autonomy.

 

Third, polymerize textile will be used on all articulation in order to restrain movements. So the astronaut will have to put efforts in every movement he makes. This will be used as a way to participate in maintaining muscle shape.

 

Fourth, with the use of a memory shape textile the astronaut’s body will be squeezed. Thus in order to insure a good blood circulation within the body.

 

Finally, a wristband completes this equipment. This wristband enables the monitoring of health and fitness by using integrated Angel Sensors. A touchscreen is also implemented for pleasure and good productivity.
